For the past two years I have been working on a memoir of my life on the spiritual path.  It looks like we will be able to publish it by the end of this year.  The title of the book is Brooklyn to Benares and Back. Last week I made a trip to lovely Vermont, a place which ranks in natural  beauty right up there with Norway and Switzerland. But I didn’t go there to admire the green mountains, I was searching in the P.R. Sarkar Archives for photos which will add some color and information to the finished book.   I struck gold and found some rare photos from the time when I was editing spiritual newspapers in the 1970s.  The book will also feature more recent photos as well such as the one below, which shows me with my colleagues, Dada Gunaragananda and Dada Krishnasevananda standing in front of T.E Lawrence’s fortress in the Jordanian desert in 2006:
