I am really excited about this new format for the website. What I have tried to do is to present the various aspects of my work on one site.  The previous version of the site was something like a “musician’s website” and didn’t really fit all of my activities. I hope that this new version will give a more rounded picture of what I am doing.

Also, I have gone to some effort to collect a lot of the articles that I have written over the years and put them in one place. I hope that you will enjoy reading some of them.

As I write this the new version of the site is not yet “live” but I hope to get it into full view in the coming days.

I just came back from a trip to India. In India I gave lectures in Orissa State in Koraput, and in Bhubaneshvar.  I also played music at these lectures and got a good reception. I didn’t know how my Western songs would be received, but people liked the lyrics and the rhythm and it was good.

Also, during the summer I sang a few times at the farmer’s market in Urbana, IL and I noticed that lots of kids and toddlers seemed to like my music so I am now working on a new CD of children’s songs. I already wrote one new song for the CD.
